Job Description: 

The successful candidate will be a ServiceNow certified Discovery and Service Mapping expert with solid hands
-on technical implementation and support experience relating to the following areas of ITOM:
– Discovery
– Service Mapping
– Event Management
– Data source integrations (with 3rd party CMDB data sources)
– Providing governance to ensure the integrity of the Configuration Management Database

Skills and Experience Requirements:-

Minimum 5 years of experience on ServiceNow ITOM module for implementation of horizontal and top-down discovery.
– Valid ServiceNow Certifications required.
– Be a technical expert Service mapping, Pre-Implementation assessment and consult business on CSDM modeling.
– Experience in developing ServiceNow solutions and technical design documents from business requirements.
– At least two full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations in the role of a technical lead
– Hands on experience on ITSM implementation.
– Programming expertise in ServiceNow, JavaScript, and PowerShell.
– Experience designing, developing, and implementing custom patterns, probes, and sensors to achieve a complete and accurate discovery of infrastructure components and application services.
– Monitor discovery and service mapping results, reconciling, and addressing any anomalies. – Define identification and reconciliation rules
– Ability to plan capacity, maintenance, and configuration of ServiceNow MID servers.
– Works with Service Owners and SMEs to ensure that accurate service maps are discovered and maintained.
– Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices/skills.
– Basic knowledge on infrastructure objects, credentials & permissions required to query information.
– Basic knowledge on Windows, UNIX commands.
