Consultant, Hardware Designer
Role Title: Consultant, Hardware Designer
Tasks to perform (title and detailed description):
• Industrialization, Firmware, Software, Mechanical and our other R&D colleagues
• Take ownership of hardware development through specification and selection of electrical and electronic
components, simulation /modeling, testing and validation, both on bench and in systems
• Develop electrical schematics, layouts and wiring diagrams
• Perform integration of subsystems and subassembliesin conjunction with new design, product
improvement, field, and production problem/resolution
• Provide support to test engineers
• Provide support for troubleshooting all system related issues
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration and be involved with new product development process
• Gain a detailed knowledge of the field in question
• Support the team in knowledge management and continuous improvement activities
• Participate as a member of a scrum team that supports multiple product lines.
• Complete work necessary to support the product lines, including but not limited to the following items (then the
existing bulleted list)
• Work is organized by the team, so the expectation is he plans work with the team in alignment with the business
needs.
