Sourcing Specialist II

Description:

Duration: 12 months; Starting April 18th

Location: Markham, ON (May work remote)

May work remote to start but MUST BE local to Markham, ON and may need to go into office at later date.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Shortage escalations + searches for shortage parts via authorized distributors and/or brokers (for mass productions, NPIs, transfer projects)
• RFQs preparations, follow-ups & analysis (for mass productions, LTBs, NPIs, Transfer projects)
• Purchase Price variance(PPV) analysis and feedback to internal stakeholder and external suppliers
• ECOs(Engineer design change ) related sourcing support
• Last Time Buy (LTB) workflow initiations and tracking with cross functional teams
• Work effectively with Technology, supplier quality, site materials and supply chain personnel on day-to-day problem resolutions and continuous improvement opportunities
• Manage the complete purchasing and contract administration functions

Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree (Engineering or Business preferred).
• Minimum 2~5 years Sourcing / Purchasing experience
• Proven problem solving skills
• Strong oral/written communication and influencing skills
• Knowledge/expertise of electronic components and mechanical assemblies
• Project management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Windows)
