** Technology Specialist – RAN Microservices

Technology Specialist -SW packaging
Location: Ottawa or remote during Covid

Cloud RAN seeks to work closely with our customers that are passionate about the delivery of virtualized RAN solutions.
You will

  • Test tools strategy and selection
  • Test strategy and test environment
  • CI/CD strategy and implementation
  • Deployment to CD customers
  • SW quality tracking and reporting
  • Key performance indicator quality assessment and reporting
  • Real-time data analytics from customer for CD customers
  • SW packaging and package delivery for classic customers

To be successful in the role you must have

  • A bachelors or masters level degree in computer science or electrical engineering
  • Good knowledge of wireless communication systems, lab troubleshooting and test automation technique/tools
  • Experience with multiple programming languages an asset (e.g., C, Matlab, Julia, Java, Python, Perl…)
  • Good understanding of the Linux ecosystem and with Linux kernel
  • Knowledge of cloud-native core principles, DevOps, ADP, microservices, K8S, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, React
  • Self-motivated, driven, results-oriented
  • Ability to work in teams and mobilize people around you
  • Innovative, adaptive and able to work well in a dynamic environment
  • Ever curious and able to think out-of-the-box to come up with simple solutions for sophisticated tasks
  • Agility to experiment, fail and learn
  • Display ownership of tasks and go above and beyond to meet customer expectations
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
