Marketing Specialist III (Marketo experience required)

18 month assignment
Semi-Remote to start. May have to go into office once COVID permits. Must be local to Markham, ON
MUST HAVE: experience with the marketing automation software called Marketo.

Role Summary/Purpose
Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving the execution marketing initiates with the global Digital Marketing team. The team responsibilities includes campaign execution (email, social), web management, launch execution, event management, collateral management, content review, copy creation. The marketing specialist will be a bridge for activities between our European marketing team and the in-house creative team located in Markham.

Essential Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day aspects of a project based on defined processes through all phases
• Run digital campaigns with experience using marketing automation tools. Marketo experience a plus
• Supporting program success through editorial review and topline copy creation when needed
• Work with our Product, Sales, Design, and Engineering teams to help design lead generation and product launch strategies that increase adoption and revenue
• Support planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns that drive qualified leads
• Develop digital marketing assets, including: company website, landing pages, or blogs
• Design, build, and execute content marketing and lead nurture email campaigns
• Understand our end-to-end user funnel and lifecycle, identifying gaps and opportunities to positively impact core
• KPIs through marketing programs
• Establish a rigorous A/B testing plan to test messaging, subject lines, CTAs, content, and notification cadences
• Analyze and report on campaign and experiment performance to drive rapid iteration, as well as provide visibility and maintain alignment cross-functionally

• Maintain awareness of best practice marketing techniques/tools to achieve successful campaigns and promotions
• Plan and execute campaigns across the customer lifecycle to create awareness and educate our users about how to get maximum value from our products

Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of digital marketing / campaign experience
• Advanced communication (written, verbal, editing), organizational, and problem solving skills
• Solid understanding of core marketing principles
• Effective working in close team environment
• Willing to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative and technical writing skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and be a team player to enhance all marketing efforts
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities, develop plans and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• A result driven self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as part of a large team
