PLC Automation Engineer

PLC Automation Engineer 

• PLC – REM Project

• Start date: ASAP
• Location: Montreal, QC
• Language: French & English
• Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension.
• Required Qualification:
  1. Professional engineer designation with OIQ – An Asset
  2. Qualified & able to work onsite up to 50%
  3. Technical requirement:                                       i.      Experience with PLC design, configuration, testing & commissioning for power automation system

                          ii.      Experience with IEC61850, Modbus & DNP3

                          iii.      Schneider Electric PLC Modicon & Saitel experience is an asset.

                          iv.      Working with the technical leader on the project to deliver the proposed system to the customer.

                          v.      Assume technical responsibility for his/her scope that includes but not limited to confirming customer requirements, provide drawings, job site requirements, define or verify bill of materials alignment with specifications & clarify exceptions.

                        vi.      The person will undertake as well, the responsibility for completing various tasks during the execution phase of the project that have a digital control system content. For example: conduct technical meetings, perform system design, perform system configuration of Digital Automation solutions or equipment, perform Factory Acceptance Test, System commissioning.
