JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with a generalist skill set to join our software development team. The Senior Software Developer will be a team player and responsible for building and maintaining our cutting edge computer vision and analysis desktop product.

You will develop, test, deploy and maintain software for automated proofreading solutions to compare text, images, artwork and printed components.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the platforms.
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong background in C++
• Proficiency with the Qt framework
• Experience developing for Windows/Linux/MacOS platforms
• Proficiency with git version control system
• College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

ASSETS:

• Experience working with Adobe APIs (Datalogics)
• Experience with testing frameworks
• Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Datastore) – Schema design,
• querying, optimization
• Familiarity with OpenCV
