This resource would aid with the execution of projects through the tracking and reporting of the following:

  • Resource Map
    • Quantity and timing of man hours needed to execute projects, reported out bi-weekly for both internal and external project resources
    • Forecast of total internal and external FTEs needed to maintain forecasted project schedules
  • Project Portfolio Tracking
    • Creation and tracking of unique project numbers and entry into file
    • Follow up with Project Managers for incomplete/obsolete entries
    • Tracking against baseline schedule with road block highlighting
    • Creation of status report bi-weekly and distributing/archiving
  • C&M Governance Meeting
    • Facilitate agenda
    • Chair meeting
    • Take and distribute minutes
  • Benchmarking
    • Through industry or comparable scope benchmarking, support costing of new projects
  • Ad-hoc support for Covid Tracking
    • Activity, criticality assessment, vendor risk, etc. tracking and reporting as deemed necessary to support project activities during Covid.
  • Ad-hoc coordination with PMO
    • Facilitation of transition to PMO ownership for projects as required
  • Member of development team for new comprehensive tracking tool
    • New tool is currently in development in collaboration with Project Controls group (PMO to join at later date)
    • Plan is to have new comprehensive tool to track spend forecasts, FTEs, Schedules, gate review tasks, etc. all in one application
    • Contribute suggestions for implementation or improvements to design
