In support of our clients Human Resources Management System (Oracle HCM Cloud) implementation project, which went live last year, we are now recruiting for 3 Oracle HCM Cloud/ Fusion Consultants, each specialized in 3 key areas:
  1. Core HR
  2. Payroll
  3. Benefits
… to augment the current HR systems team to complete implementation, management and sustainment of the HRMS going forward.
Oracle HCM Fusion (Cloud) Specialists – 1) Core HR 2) Payroll 3) Benefits
Common Accountabilities & Skillset required for the consultants of Core HR, Payroll, Benefit:
· Experience in implementing relevant module of Oracle Fusion HCM & OTAC (Taleo), R12 or higher
· Provide consulting services by acting as a subject matter expert through the entire cloud application service implementation lifecycle for Oracle HCM cloud projects
· Understanding of inter-module working functionalities within Fusion HCM & OTAC (Taleo) and lead migrating to Production
· Experience and understanding of the delivered reports and ability to map business needs to delivered functionalities with minimal customizations
· Identify functionality gaps in the implemented solution, propose recommendations and lead the implementation of corrective/ preventive actions Provide best practices on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes and or systems
· Ability to develop low to medium complexity fast formulas
· Experience of Oracle cloud upgrades including impact assessment, testing and resolving defects
· Experience of managing Oracle service requests
· Continuous Service Improvements – support to the client’s satisfaction the system enhancements, including configuration, testing (unit/system integration/regression), defect resolution
· Knowledge transfer to Humber counterparts
· Identify and understands the complex business requirements, map them to Oracle HCM cloud and / or Taleo functionality and lead the implementation
· Analyze and recommend solutions in relation to collective agreement and bargaining unit constructs
· Certification in respective module of Oracle Fusion will be an asset
· Knowledge of HR practices and policies, payroll processing cycles
· Excellent communication skills
Role 1 – Core HR Consultant:
· Experience working with multiple changing assignments (Non-full time), org tree structure, assignments that can be impacted by different pay structures, re-hire (returning employees)
· Understanding of Taleo recruitment and how Taleo client connect (TCC) works
· Experience with managing the interface errors between Taleo to HCM will be an asset
Role 2 – Payroll Systems Consultant:
· Pay errors – resolution of the payroll issues in production
· Experience in implementing payroll year end, T4’s, Canadian tax patches, payroll legislative updates, payroll year begin
· Lead the implementation of the payroll projects
· Experienced in working with Oracle for the product gaps and ability to recommend and implement the solution for which the product has limitations
· Experience in payroll audit reports (payroll exception) reports
· Experience in implementing EHT, stat pay, retro pay process and ability to provide the recommendations for the gaps in EHT and retro pay
Role 3 – Benefit Consultant:
· Experience working with a major Canadian registered pension plan specifically Defined Benefit Pension Plan
· Experience working with a multi-employer benefits plan and experience around complex plans where there are multiples rules for each plan/program
· Experience implementing changes in user interfaces, lead the decommissioning of the classic simplified user interface and move to the “New User Experience (NUX)” user interfaces with all of our modules as required by Oracle by to be implemented by May 2020.
  • Experience with the business processes in HCM modules including: Payroll, HR Core, Benefits
  • Solid understanding of HCM and OTAC functionality, configuration and the interface between systems and data
  • In depth knowledge and experience with formal systems development methodologies
  • Ability to facilitate discovery sessions with our customers, collect requirements, educate and evangelize on Oracle cloud solutions/strategies and independently develop proposals
  • Demonstrated experience providing end-user business process and functional how-to support of Human Capital Management systems;
  • ITIL certification and applied knowledge;
Deep knowledge of Human Resources Management Information Systems or Payroll/HR
Communication and leadership
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and will lead workshops with client teams.
Ability to work with various stakeholders;
Ability to articulate complex technical and business solutions
  • Experience with designing and implementing cloud-based architecture solutions.
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking and Customer Centric Design.
  • Experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years in implementing and supporting operation of Human Capital Management in a SaaS environment;
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud/Fusion HCM including detailed technical experience in at least one of the HCM modules including: HR core, Benefits, Payroll
