We prefer to have someone with HQ experience, auditing-traveling for various sites across Canada, bilingual, incident investigation etc but who is willing and will enforce GE policies and procedures.
Start time could be anytime, prefer the sooner the better.
The main roles are to support site remotely for EHS consultation, possibly perform onsite audits throughout Canada at project sites (Covid allowing), perform administrative support to those sites, as well as perform JSA translations, and other EHS Manager type tasks including support in incident investigation. When travel is possible we have possible need to perform an EHS Mobilization visit to site; helping with getting site workers trained to GE expectations, creating equipment registers etc..
I am looking for someone preferably with a degree but minimally CSST construction certificate. They must be able to work remotely, independently, utilize computer /excel, EHS Software system which we would train. Background or more experience preferred in Lifting Operations, Confined Space, Working at Height, high voltage electricity- all preferred. Training through Hydro Quebec a plus but not mandatory. We need an EHS Manager who will support company's policies and procedures even when at Hydro sites
